Custom M4 DMR

Description

Here is the newest rifle in my collection, a custom M4 built from the ground up to perform at the way need. The best part about it, no base gun. Each part was bought and picked out individually to fit my need/want.

This rifle also serves as a replacement to an aging, heavy, and unbalanced Masada. The Polarstar Fusion Engine, and inner barrel were both taken from the Masada to make this rifle a reality. But for those of you who like my Masada as much as I do, it will get new life as a CQB monster when I decide it's necessary.

This rifle features the following components:
-Polarstar Fusion Engine V2 Gen2
-Madbull 6.03x509mm Black Python inner barrel (subject to change)
-ProWin CNC hop up chamber
-Prometheus/Namzu Flat-hop
-Madbull/Noveske 11" NSR Keymod rail
-G&P receiver (LMT style)
-Redline Airsoft Airstock

So I've had plans to do this for a very long while. Just had no idea it was going to happen so soon. There are a few reason I wanted to change if for be a Masada platform, although I still think the Masada is a much cooler looking rifle. First, I wanted a more balanced weapon, while the Masada was heavy (this is too, though not as much). The biggest problem with the Masada was that all of the weight lied in the handguard and forward, the stock was one of the lightest parts of the rifle. This led to a lot of fatigue for a small frame such as myself. I would try and lug it around during big games like Autumn Justice and Sprimg Offensive, but by the end of each day I was suffering.

Second reason, in addition the lighter, balanced rifle, this rifle also cuts down on the weight of my load out and allows me to be more streamlined. Why? Because of the airstock. The airstock gets rid of the heavy aluminum/akward air tank in my backpack and since the air tank was pretty much the only thing I would carry in my pack, that allows me to switch up my gear so I can run a much more lightweight/streamlined load out to fit my smaller size and play style.

Last reason, I needed more accuracy and range. While I was able to get the Masada to be accurate at 200-250 feet, it only was so when using .32g BBs. I use .25g 90% of the time so I need something to be accurate with them. The Masada used a two-piece, molded plastic hop up chamber. This rifle uses a one-piece, CNC aluminum hop up chamber designed with accuracy and consistency in mind. With the Masada, I kept my thumb in the bolt door, adjusting the hop-up as I would be hammering down on the trigger, making white plastic rain down. I will be experimenting with different barrel types trying to achieve 300+ foot accuracy.
